Deepen your connection with nature, the land, others, and ultimately with yourself. In this experience, you will be guided on a slow walk to awaken the senses through the woods near Lindenwood Retreat Center. Then you will have time for integration and reflection as you meander the labyrinth by the lake. Mindful outdoor experiences have been shown to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve immunity, increase heart health, and provide mental calm. Let us walk together. All-levels are welcome.
Heather Barron, Facilitator
Location: Outside at Lindenwood Retreat and Conference Center
About the Facilitator:
Heather is a 200hr certified Yoga Teacher who has been practicing for nearly 20 years. Her first few classes “felt like coming home” to her body.
She holds additional training in Power, Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Chair Yoga. She has also received certification in Y12SR - yoga for working with trauma and addiction. She continues to study and deepen her practice.
Heather completed a 160hr Meditation Teacher Training in 2021 after being affected deeply by the benefits of meditation to help her work through anxiety and depression. Additionally, she discovered the power of meditation for addressing emotional blocks and shifting energy.
Being able to help people ground, release physical and mental stress, and feel more fully alive through movement, breath work, and mindfulness is a true honor.
