Morning Meditation is available every Monday-Thursday, 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. (Eastern) by the pergola outside in between the gallery and lodge.
Tuesdays at 2:00 is available every Tuesday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. (Eastern) in the gallery to listen to and discuss the Irish poet, teacher, and philosopher, John O'Donohue's dialogue.
Sit & Spin is held the Second Tuesday of every month, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.—for Fiber Arts enthusiasts at MoonTree Gallery to spin away the evening in the company of kindred spirits. Bring your wheel or spindle and fiber (or purchase some custom blends on site). There are wheels to rent for the night on site if you’re away.
Plein Air Artists are invited to paint out in the environs of MoonTree Studios any Wednesday...you choose the dates!
The Center at Donaldson, where MoonTree Studios is located, offers picturesque landscapes, with acres & acres of prairie, woodlands, Gilbraith Lake, neo-Gothic architecture, gardens, a grotto & hermitages, pastoral settings with barns & cornfields...there are inspirational settings around every corner!
Contemplative Prayer is an ancient Christian form of prayer. Communal practice of Contemplative Prayer is available every Monday – Thursday year-round, 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. (Eastern) at MoonTree Lodge.
Remove your shoes in the entryway, enter in silence, making your way to the second floor Prayer Loft.
Poetry Club meets the fourth Thursday of every month from January-October from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at MoonTree Lodge. Attendees are encouraged to bring poetry to share, whether written by themselves or others.
