FORM YOUR STORY SERIES
Aging is a time full of potential for personal growth, enhanced well-being and civic engagement. Older adults, ages 65 and up, are invited to explore ways to express their wisdom through imagery, create a piece of artwork and then engage in creative exchange with the community.
Art facilitator, Jennifer Weinert is a 2022 recipient of the Lifelong Arts Indiana Fellowship which empowers artists to develop their own approach to sharing creative experiences with older adults, is partnering with MoonTree to offer older adult art experiences to ‘awaken creative potential’.
In each experience, participants will engage in the creative art process from concept to completion as they learn about the technique, best practices, elements of design, how to choose materials to form their work of art reflecting the experience focus. Things to expect from the progam: social engagement, individual guidance, and your own unique work of art.
Each experience meets for six consecutive weeks with available studio time and facilitator access if you need to miss a session or want to spend time on your project.
