Ayurveda, an ancient holistic science, teaches that we are made of the same elements as what surrounds us. The more we understand this, the more we can understand and heal ourselves.
This 90-minute workshop will help participants learn about the elements of Ayurveda, their unique mind/body constitution (dosha), cycles/seasons, self-care, and digestion. You will be able to sample Kitchari (a traditional healing dish in Ayurveda). Maximum of 8 participants. About the facilitator: Heather Barron is a certified yoga and meditation teacher with a background in Vinyasa, Power, Hatha, Chair, and Restorative yoga. She enjoys helping people to ground, release stress, and feel more fully alive through movement, breath work, and mindfulness.
